A Family Tradition
For almost 40 years, the Pippin family has provided the best tractors and equipment products on the market. In 1962, Olon F. Pippin was a successful water driller looking for additional property for his expanding business. The Massey-Ferguson dealer on Orange Avenue Extension had fallen on hard times and their land was for sale. When Mr. Pippin contacted the manufacturer to buy the property, they asked him to assume the dealership. He did, and started another successful enterprise.
Olon operated Pippin Tractor and Equipment until his death in 1989. He added Bush Hog to his line of tractors and focused on the citrus industry. The company has seen the growth of the Treasure Coast and serviced their customers through the boom times and the busts in the economy of the region.
Olon's son Hubert Pippin assumed the mantle of the company in 1989 while continuing to manage his own successful business in Texas. He added Kubota, and a number of other products to the line, branching out to serve ranches and dairies, landscapers and nurseries, vegetable growers and sod farmers.
Scott Conley, coming from an agricultural and construction machine background, joined the Company in 1995 as a top notch mechanic and rose to Service Manager in short order. He assumed the offices of General Manager/Vice President of Pippin Tractor in 2007 with Hubert remaining as CEO and his son Adam L. Pippin remaining as President.
Today, the company is more competitive than ever. JCB has been added to serve the construction industry from site developers and slab masons to roofers, framers, plumbers, sheet masons, carpenters, and irrigation and pool contractors. Financing has been made easier and she service department is second to none, with state-of-the-art diagnostic and manufacturer certified technicians capable of servicing all lines of tractors and equipment.
